The Affiliate Code Scam or Could It Actually Be For Real? (home based business marketing)
By Julio Garabot
The Affiliate Code scam or real - you wish you knew. This seems like it will be the next big thing in internet marketing and it does promise you a lot of revenue. How much of that am I willing to believe? Well, if you’ve been around affiliate marketing for a while you know that some of those hyped up products end up being just that: a lot of hype (and less cash in your pocket). You could take a dive into all the softwares (and not hit the bottom) that promise you the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and the rainbow to boot, with a few mouse clicks here and there; systems that will make you so much money you’ll have a hard time thinking of new ways to spend it all.
Why even bring this up? For one thing: been there, done that, too many times. Even though logic makes it quite clear to us that things don’t work this way, well, more often than not we are desperate and frustrated enough to give it a shot anyway. Wouldn’t want to watch this thing take off without you, right? A bit like playing the lottery. On the bright side of things, having worked myself through bunches of systems, like a caterpillar eats his way through a head of cabbage, I have learned many, many things about internet marketing in general and affiliate marketing in particular. As a result I’ve developed somewhat of a nose to smell out a scam.
There are certain red flags that pop up when I hear about yet another extremely easy way of making tons of money quickly, so easily, your pre-schooler could do it for you (right!). First bell: If the author of this wonder-program doesn’t come recommended by a bunch of affiliate marketers with reknown I would hardly bother to put my money on him. In affiliate marketing people that know their stuff are known themselves. Names go around rather fast and if the program designer’s name isn’t recommended by a bunch of the known affiliate marketers I’d think twice to put my hard earned cash into his hands. Second bell: If they promise you that you won’t have to work for your money as in “click here and swim in cash tomorrow”, or “it’ll do all the work for you, while you have Butler James bring you some iced tea on a silver tray”. Yeah, duh. Money doesn’t fall from the sky, unless God himself makes it so. So that’ll give you two conclusions, or they don’t have a solid base for their promises and you will have to pay your dues anyway or it just won’t work. Rule in general: If it sounds too good to be true . . . well, that’s normally just what it is.
Now Michael Jones has thrown a bunch of bestselling systems on the market, like The Adwords Code, The eBay Code, The Torrential Traffic Tactics. The last big thing he put on the market was the Clickbank Code, which steam rolled the competition and is known to have made good on its promises. That program showed in an easy to follow step-by-step format how to get everything you can out of Clickbank affiliate marketing. Now The Affiliate Code goes quite a bit further and delivers you the whole cow, rib-eye and all. It’ll show you how to get profits from pretty much everywhere on the internet, not just Clickbank and the likes..
Well, I went ahead and asked for refunds on some of the nope-I-didn’t-get-rich-with-this-one systems and rounded up enough dollars to go and get me this one. And in the end Michael Jones offers a solid money back guarantee for a whole 8 weeks. So really there isnt much of a risk in it for me, right? He tells you that you will be able to get your web-sites ranked very fast and will be able to make money very soon. Well, 8 weeks should be enough time then to find out if The Affiliate Code works, don’t you think? If it does’t pan out, my loss will be in time and some effort and I can still go back to same old, same old. (Old bread is still old bread tomorrow, right?). But who knows, may this time. . .

The Truth About Network Marketing Lies
By Warren Little
In recent years the truth about network marketing lies was revealed in a no holds barred report called “The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing“. Savvy internet network marketers recognized these network marketing lies for what they were and that is, as sad as it may sound, damaging to the industry.
It takes time to build a successful network marketing business. That’s a hard fact. But here’s some great news, with the internet as a powerful tool in generating prospects this building phase has been shortened tremendously.
The problem with building a network marketing business the old way was that it simply took too long to see a return. The first few months are crucial in the survival process yet more than 90% would quit their business because of the lack of cash flow early in the business.
When a person signs up in “most” network marketing companies costs include those for marketing materials and autoship payments and they are immediately up side down. It does bear noting that in any business there will be upfront investments prior to the payoff.
As you may have noticed, I said “most” in the prior paragraph because there is one company I know of that does NOT have this requirement/problem & has enjoyed a 95% retention & reorder rate for 25 yrs straight!
However, Internet network marketing, (with the right system & company) gives a person the chance to generate money very quickly offsetting the early lack of cash flow which will keep them in the business longer and set them up for success.
So What About Network Marketing Lies
Network marketing lies range from being told anyone can do this to your upline will build your business for you, all you have to do is join. The fact is, there is much more to it than that and lack of funds in the early stages is a major issue with “most” programs.
In 2010 & beyond, the three foot rule is almost a dinosaur as a prospecting method and it’s almost a joke. That’s why if you haven’t done so, you need to consider utilizing the power and reach of the internet not just because it’s a goldmine of prospects, but more importantly, because you can actually place your message in front of those who want to hear it.
This is called targeted marketing .
The big difference here is the lack of wasted time you will experience and serious high quality prospects will actually be drawn to your sales funnel. In other words, they’ll be contacting you, literally by phone & email.
If that sounds like a unique way of effective prospecting, better get used to it.
So be wary of the old school network marketing lies that will have you believing that you need to make a list and run regular home meetings. That was once a good way of building an MLM business but it is not the most effective way to build a massive downline in 2010 & and the years to come.
Over 90% of network marketers quit the business within the first 3 months. Dont become a statistic. If you apply the Warren Little reveals in his FREE Newsletter you will see your business become one that will succeed.
