How To Build A Six Figure Income Online-00-911 (business marketing solutions)

Everyone is looking for the secret wealth formula and a get rich fast scheme online these days. The truth is, building your online business and earning six figures a year from home can be accomplished, but not overnight. Let me remind you, I said “can” be accomplished. Before we go any further in our discussion, let’s take the preconceived notion that every business is a scam out of your head and clarify a few things. 95% of businesses fail online due to two simple factors. Number one, the level of your advertising and internet marketing experience and number two, finding a business that offers real value to the end user. If you are able to master these two factors, you will find that anything is possible online.

Becoming a marketing master There are so many different techniques used today in internet marketing, it’s easy to become caught in the next best thing that you lose focus. Right now there are two techniques that are proven to work and one of them is cutting edge that every internet marketer should be doing. The first technique is called, “article marketing” In article marketing, the internet marketer writes informative articles discussing or reviewing a particular product or service. Taking this article, then submitting it to article directories provides content for hungry web masters. In return, when a web master posts an article on their website, it provides a link back to your service or product. Writing an effect article can lead to highly targeted web traffic and potentially a substantial influx of sales.

Your next question may be, “how do I know what to write about?” There are already plenty of pre-written articles on your subject matter. A simple search at www.ezinearticles.com will bring up articles related to your keyword search. Using a number of pre-written articles to re-write your own article is a good start. Craig Garcia, the co-founder of EDC Gold, says As a member of EDC Gold, we have several pre-written articles in a number of niche markets available for use. All you have to do is copy and paste them into the 110 article submission hubs in our members area

In addition to article marketing, video marketing is a new and upcoming technique. Google recently bought out youtube, a place where individuals can go and record videos of themselves promoting their business. Recording a simple video introducing who you are and the service or products you have available builds credibility and marks you as an authority in your niche market. Secondly, the Google search engine loves youtube. Posting a video on youtube in the proper categories using the proper keywords in your heading can earn you top positions in the Google search engine.

Both techniques are proven to work and have been working for many internet marketers. Obviously the more you do for each technique stated above will drive more traffic to your business and ultimately put you in a profit building position.

How to Determine if it is a Legitimate Business or Ponzi Scheme?

Ponzi schemes are a type of illegal pyramid scheme named for Charles Ponzi, an Italian immigrant who used technique in New England in the 1920’s. Although it was he who is most well known for using this scheme, the concept has been around for a long time.

These types of schemes are quite common and you have probably seen those hundreds of times, perhaps without realizing it. They are often in the form of messages that claim that for a relatively small investment, you can make huge amounts of money. There are many variations, but they all are based on the same concept: the promotion of what starts out to be, or appears to be, a real investment opportunity. Many times it involves the development of a valuable resource such as oil, gas, minerals or real estate. In a lot of cases, the resource does actually exist; however, the promoter has significantly overestimated its how much it is worth. In other cases the resource does not even exist. Either way, the promoter convinces investors that the asset can be further developed if they invest into it. In return, the promoter will share the profits with the investors.

The concept works in the beginning and the initial investors do make the huge returns that they were promised. Because of this they are likely to invest more money and recruit new investors. The money being paid out, however, is not coming from the asset, but in the influx of new investors. For this reason, the only way that the investors will continue to get paid is through the continuous reinvestments or investments from new investors. As soon as investing slows down, people stop getting paid and the scheme begins to collapse. When the scheme collapses, most investors lose their money and have no way to recoup their losses. Although Ponzi schemes can last for a fairly long time before collapsing, legal authorities often break them up before they even get the chance because a Ponzi scheme is suspected and/or because the promoter is selling unregistered securities.

The best way to avoid becoming involved in this type of scheme is to thoroughly research any investment before investing into it. If you see: a reliance on funds from new investors to pay commissions, a need for an inexhaustible supply of new investors, and/or absences of a profitable product or efforts to make profits through productive work; there is a good chance that it is indeed a Ponzi scheme.

One of the best companies on the internet is a company that teaches people how to market on the internet. If you do now know how to market, then now matter what products or services you provide, no one will ever know you are there. So to start with the basics, you need to learn to know how to market on the internet.

Features of Joomla Web Templates
By Sherlinanna

Joomla is an award winning open source content management system (CMS) that allows users to rapidly build websites even without any skill in web designing. Though it is open source it nevertheless comes built-in with a lot of free and commercial extensions. With Joomla you don’t need specialists to maintain web pages, as in the case of HTML. In this way, Joomla has created a revolution in the world of web designing. Let us see more about this software in the following article.

Joomla acts as an easy interface that separates the complexities of updating web content from the novice user. It can help in adding features to an existing site like Blog, Forum, Gallery, Shopping Cart, guestbook etc. Joomla organizes website content as Sections, Categories, and Content Items and this data is stored in a mySQL database. What joomla does is it acts as a graphic user interface for this database. Joomla template uses HTML with PHP hooks that contains information on where particular parts of the content should be placed. Joomla’s core engine uses this information from the database and uses it in the template file to produce a webpage.

A Joomla template is divided into a number of zones. Each zone has a position name called module positions E.g. left, right, top, bottom, user1, user2, etc. The template designer can assign the modules to a certain position by adjusting the module parameters. In this way the we can define to which zone the module will belong to. The user can then assign some content to one of these positions. So all you need to know is how to install Joomla to create a free template and build your own website. You will never need HTML knowledge or help from a web designer.

Joomla has something called Components which are actually add-on programs that add additional functionality whose administrative features are integrated in the Joomla Administrator. Another Joomla term is Mambot, a script that is run just before rendering the content for doing any final changes before outputting your website.

Joomla helps you to create websites using CSS with least use of tables. In this way the template code will be easier to validate W3C standards. Also CSS templates developed with Joomla load faster and do better in search engines.

Joomla can be used for designing wide and diverse websites ranging from simple to more complex corporate websites.

Some of the website types served by Joomla are:

Online marketing websites,

Corporate websites,

Web sites of Non Government Organizations,

Government websites,

Sites of Churches and other religious institutions,

Websites of Educational Institutions,

Personal websites,

Magazines and portals,

and more.

With Joomla you can easily and quickly add features by installing pre-built add ons. Joomla templates can make your website look more professional and your web content much easier to manage. Be The Best Boss You Can Be
By Ben Needles

Being the person in charge can often be very exhilarating for someone experiencing such a feeling for the first time. Whether you are in charge of a project with a team of company employees that are reporting to you or a single employee that you might be responsible for. Either way we all get a rush from the power suddenly handed to us. But those feelings come while working for someone else. Now imagine the rush you will get when you are the ultimate authority over everyone employed by your company! It can be like nothing youve ever experienced before. All the important decisions are yours to make. The fates of your employees are up to you. The future of your company is in your hands. Everything relies on you!

Okay now are we over the rush? Has reality set in yet? I hope so because while it may sound like everything you have ever dreamed that you wanted. Its not an easy thing to be the final authority on everything that happens to a business. Its a lot of hard work. But you do get the chance to be the boss if that is what you really want. So what kind of boss will you be?

Weve all had bosses weve hated at one time or another. And some people have also managed to have a supervisor or two that they liked. Of course no one is ever going to be the perfect boss but what would you prefer. Do you want to be the tyrant or a person that people like coming to work for? We know that its not a popularity contest and the needs of the business will always have to come first. But which is better, having employees that actually like to come to work for you each day and can then give their best while on the job or people that hate their work and will always be watching the clock just waiting to go home?

Remember the supervisors youve had at one time or another that were both good to you and that you hated. No one really wants to be the type of boss that everyone hates but sometimes it does turn out that way. You know in your heart that you can do better and you will. You just have to be willing to put forth the effort. All the good intentions in the world will get you nowhere if you are unwilling to act.

So what can you do to be a good supervisor? Many things can be done, in fact more than we can possibly cover but we can mention a few of the more important things that you can do. Be willing to listen. Your employees should always be allowed a voice. People like to know their opinions are valued. And be genuine about soliciting their opinions. Give employee evaluations. Not everyone is going to like what you may have to say about them but if you do it the right way they may come to appreciate the input. Evaluations are a great way to show that you are paying attention to them. Employees that appreciate their jobs will make your that much easier.

Treating your employees with respect each day will always help. Yelling at them and berating them for mistakes they might have made will get you nowhere with them. Acknowledge that a mistake was made and work with the employee to correct. Try to teach them about the mistake was made and how they can prevent such a mistake happening again. Then move on. Because dwelling on something that is over with will not help you either.

Let people know when they have done a good job. Praise is too often withheld or the benefits of acknowledging a good job are ignored. How would you feel if you put forth your best effort to make a project successful and dont even receive a simple thank you for your efforts? Never forget that people are not machines and so they should not be treated as such. Treat your employees how you would want to be treated and you will not go wrong.

When In Business Remember Your Values And Your Principles (home based business marketing)

November 15th, 2008 admin Posted in business | No Comments »

By Ben Needles

The pressures people face as entrepreneurs can at times become burdensome. You are the boss, the one person within your company that is ultimately responsible for everything that goes on. Sometimes you may feel all alone in the world that makes up your life. And sometimes the pressure can seem overwhelming. Being in business for yourself does not mean living in a perfect world. So when challenges arise and things become difficult remember what your own personal set of values and principles are. They will help to make up who you are and how you want to run your business. Values like honesty, integrity, trust, and treating others like you would like to be treated should not be taken lightly.

In business your values and principles are important and should never be sacrificed for any reason. But they will be put to the test on many occasions. So how might your values be challenged by your business. Lets start with your employees. Depending on what kind of business you own your employees will come from all walks of life. They will vary in the cultures they come from, age, race, gender, and education levels. And at times they will do things that they should not. How will you handle them? If your business needs them bad enough will you look the other way when they do something wrong? What if they treat other employees badly or try to take advantage of you because they know how badly that you need them. Will you sacrifice your values and principles because you are worried by what would happen if they leave or will you make the right choice and get rid of them.

What if a customer puts you in a compromising position about doing further business with your company? Maybe an employee of theirs demands a kickback or something if you want to continue to receive their business. How will you handle such a situation? Do you risk turning them in knowing it could cost you that customer? You have to ask yourself what will cost you more. Standing up for what you believe in knowing it could hurt your company or giving in knowing it could hurt you. We can always come up with excuses for giving in; its taking a stand personally that is hard to do.

The choices you face as you develop and grow your business with be hard. Some will test your principles. They will force you to consider how far you are willing to go to get ahead and make your business a success. So choose carefully because the decisions you make now can affect you greatly in the future. One small exception to your values and principles can lead to bigger exceptions later.

What makes today
By Ben Needles

If you spend time thinking about how to crack the code on effective ways to capture the attention of todays buyers, you and I have something profound in common! This is the first of a 3 part series focusing on understanding buyer motivation in the business to business market place.

Over the last 12 months I have surveyed just over 100 buyers. These 100 business people I surveyed work in companies ranging from Fortune 500 down to small organizations doing just over 1 million dollars in annual revenue. Over 80% of the buyers I surveyed said they are flat out tired of dealing with sales people. Instead they want to deal with business people.

Buyers today want you to have depth. They want you to think and act like a business person and not a sales person. They do not have the time for a sales pitch but they do have time to learn. In fact leaders are under such pressure to deliver results in our present business climate you can count on the fact if you come forward with meaningful and relevant information that can help them accomplish one or two of their goals they will speak with you.

Focus on a couple of vertical markets and uncover the trends, issues, threats and opportunities companies face in those markets. Then call your buyer and have a business discussion around those issues.

Dont focus on closing the sale! Focus on understanding your buyers situation. Dont focus on doing a feature dump boring your prospect to tears with what your product is! Focus on asking excellent questions that uncover your prospects goals, plans and objectives. If you take this approach you will differentiate yourself from your competition and you will earn your share of the business.

Get out of Dodge, Share Your Opportunity With Friends And Family And Not Get Run Out Of Town
By Ben Needles

The first thing you will need to do before you start approaching family and friends about your opportunity is have professional sales presentations that will give the perfect pitch for your opportunity every time. Almost every current MLM or network marketing company has professionally done presentations now. Now it can be a website, it can be a pre-recorded sales call or it can be a cd or tape. If you do not like your company materials, there are many companies that offer professional videos and websites you can use for a small monthly payment. With the technology you have available now, there is no need to draw the circles anymore.

The reason for this is, if your contact does take a look at your opportunity, you want them thinking I can do this. If they think they have to be a salesman, you probably will not have much luck. Professional pre done presentations are critical to your success, especially with family and friends.

You have a few options how you will contact your family and friends to share your home based business with them.

1. Simply call them and let them know that you recently joined so and so company and just a brief description about what products are offered and what is unique about the company. Tell them you are just letting them know what company you are with, so if anyone else approaches them, you hope they will contact you back if they have an interest. This lets them know that you are honest and just getting the word out. If you peak their interest they just might take a look at one of your professional presentations.
2. Write a letter describing the opportunity you are with and how they can get more information, and let them know about the systems your company and mentors have in place to help them succeed from their home based business opportunity. Very good technique. If they have an interest, they will contact you. Do not be afraid to create a generic type letter you can let your down line use to help build their home based business.
3. Create a pre-written email that is like the letter, that you can send your contacts. Make sure it is available for your down line to use also.

This is a very good way to quickly contact those you know and not burn any bridges. Next start educating yourself with online techniques you can use to help explode your home based business opportunity. Things like videos, blogs, social sites, article writing, posting to free classified sites and Google Ad words, auto-responders ECT.

The internet is the most powerful way to promote and build your home based business any where in the world your company is currently operating. If you do not take the time to learn online marketing, and spend your time trying to convince your family and friends, you will most likely just spin your wheels going nowhere fast.

Here is one of my favorite quotes a mentor of mine told me. I am not for sure where the quote came from so Author is unknown. Take the time today to do the things others wont, so that tomorrow you will have the time and money to do the things others cant.

(Online business marketing) Importance of Interstate Trucking or Transportation

November 14th, 2008 admin Posted in business | No Comments »

By J.D Tanner

Despite the many advances in technology, interstate trucking or transportation is still a preferred choice when it comes to delivering goods nationwide. Practically all U.S. commodities are transported by truck at certain points in the distribution process. And since about 82% of communities in the country are served exclusively by trucks, it is no wonder then that an estimated $543 billion in revenues is expected to end up in the trucking industry at the end of 2008.

By the end of 2008, the trucking industry is expected to deliver at least 9.3 billion tons of freight. According to the American Trucking Association (ATA), this estimate covers more than 63% of the total freight deliveries for the United States.

This is one of the reasons why more and more people and companies are switching to the trucking industry; they realize its value and potential for success.

However, before an interstate trucking company can operate, it has to acquire interstate authority in order to obtain permission to carry various goods and items within the state and across other states. It is considered the most important legal permission and functions like a business license. Normally, the permission is obtained immediately but its activation may take around 3 weeks.

Formerly issued by the Interstate Commerce Commission, interstate authority is now issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). This permission, or license, must be obtained together with truck insurance and cargo insurance. There are basically 2 types of interstate authority for trucking companies. Common Carrier Authority is required to file both liability and cargo insurance with the FMCSA. On the other hand, Control Carrier Authority is expected to file only liability insurance with the FMCSA. Other forms of authorities like household goods carriers and broker and freight forwarder authorities, usually deal with truck business involving middlemen or brokers.

A middleman, or a freight broker authority, acts as the bridge between the producers or manufacturers and the truckers. The freight broker is considered an expert in the trucking industry and has a good reputation in both the trucking and business communities. A freight broker authority must possess technical skills or expertise and must have background in management and accounting, especially nowadays when technology is constantly changing and advancing.

In difficult or doubtful times, a freight broker authority is who manufacturers will turn to, especially when freight demand overpowers carrier capacity. This is why it is important for the broker to be familiar with the ins and outs of the business. He should also be licensed and insured. An interstate trucks license is called an ICC number.

As a result of the cessation of the Interstate Commerce Commission, the term ICC number was changed to MC (Motor Carrier) number. This important number is a mandatory permit that truck drivers should carry every time they travel.

Since trucks are insured and given an ICC number, brokers and manufacturers will not have a difficult time tracking them down when there is a need to.

Trucks that travel across different states carry a wide variety of commodities. Some trucks transport goods from the furniture industry while a good number of interstate deliveries are made for wholesale and retail companies. Specialized services, like newspaper delivery, are also a common thing. The bulk, however, comes from the retail and wholesale trade companies making up 25% of the 2006 2.9 million trucking industry total. Other industries benefiting from interstate trucking businesses include the construction and manufacturing companies.

Since the trucking industry is more flexible compared to other modes of transportation, the interstate authority has issued more legal permissions to interstate truckers than to those operating delivery businesses via air, sea, or rail transportation. Interstate trucking continues to be an effective mode of transporting goods because trucks are able to reach practically almost all locations within the United States. A freight broker authority will exert more effort in convincing manufacturers or producers to transport their commodities or goods through other modes of transportation that have limited reach and services according to their route flexibility.

No matter what technology has to offer, like expanded railways or revolutionary shipping vessels, truck drivers will remain to be a constant presence in national and interstate highways. They will continue to deliver a variety of goods that range from perishable fruits to canned goods to cars. Interstate trucking is the only authorized delivery system (with MC/ICC numbers) that can deliver commodities on a door-to-door basis. Even producers, who transport their goods through ship, train, or airplane, still use trucks at a certain point in their distribution process. And with most modern improvements, like cushioned seats, high technology entertainment systems, better ventilation, and bigger cabs, truck drivers will be able to do their driving in a more comfortable manner and hence, reach their destinations quicker.

Classified Ad Tips For Selling Your Boat Online
By Jerry Glynn

The Internet is a great resource for selling, and buying, just about anything you can think of. This is why online classified ad sites have grown so rapidly in popularity. When you are preparing to sell your boat, there are some important things you must do, and some important tips to keep in mind, and this article will help you to make the most out of your next boat sale.

Writing An Effective Classified Ad

Whether you are selling a car, house, boat, or your old, ugly couch that even your dog refuses to sit on, there are some basic rules to follow. The first one is to describe your boat in the most concise method possible. Do not say, in the text of your online classified ad This boat is a great boat. Its blue and white and it seats two people, and I like to take it on fishing trips. . . you get the idea, right? Here is what a sample online classified ad should look like

Boat for sale

General description of your boat could be: Ex Gently used, immaculately kept boat manufacture year and name fishing boat for sale. Describe the features of your boat, as well as the color. Describe any minor problems that your boat has, or, better yet, emphasize its good condition. If your boat is in need of major repair, you should mention this as well, and reduce the price accordingly Price that you would like to get for the sale of your boat. If you are willing to negotiate, say something like OBO or best offer

Preparing Your Boat For Viewing

You should plan on taking your boat in for servicing before potential buyers, drawn by your well-written classified ad, start arriving at your virtual doorstep. This is also the time to do any minor repainting and other cosmetic types of improvements.

Interviewing Potential Buyers

This is dependent on the emotional and financial investment that you have made in your boat. If you are a boating enthusiast, then you may feel the need to be extra picky in terms of whom you allow to purchase your boat. If, on the other hand, you would prefer a quick sale and/or are eager to move on to bigger and better boats, you will probably be willing to hand the title over to the first person who shows up with cash in hand. Remember to write them a receipt, and keep a copy for yourself, just in case. You should also inspect the boat with the buyer, noting any damages in writing, and making sure that you have the buyer sign and date a statement of said damages, since this will protect you in the event that your buyer experiences what is known as buyers remorse.
